El municipio de El Cairo es el único del departamento del Valle del Cauca, en el cual su sector urbano quedó incluido dentro de la declaratoria de Patrimonio Mundial, por el buen estado de conservación de su arquitectura, además de una extensa zona de su sector rural.

El Cairo is the only urban area in the department of Valle del Cauca, delclared a World Heritage site, because of the state of conservation of its architecture along with its large rural area.

Llegada a el municipio de El Cairo y visita Museo de la Cultura Cafetera IE Gilberto Álzate Avendaño.
Caminata ecológica Unidad Didáctica Ambiental (Arboretum).
Recorrido urbano por el municipio, puntos históricos y patrimonio arquitectónico.
Almuerzo típico de la región: Frijoles con Cidra y arepa de Mote.
Cabalgata y recorrido Finca Llano Grande y cultivos de café.
Visita Casa Ambiental comunitaria, venta de productos ecológicos, exposiciones de arte local y suvenires.

5:00 am Salida dede el Parque las Banderas.
Llegada al municipio de El Cairo.
Recorrido urbano por el municipio, puntos históricos y patrimonio arquitectónico.
Visita a la Reserva Natural Galápagos estrategia de conservación comunitaria y avistamiento de aves.
Visitas Reservas Naturales, muestra de agricultura orgánica, plantas medicinales y asociaciones campesinas. (RN La Linda o Villa Gloria).
Almuerzo especial campesino parte de las iniciativas de alimentación sana y culinaria nativa.
Visita corregimiento de Albán y su patrimonio histórico.
Visita finca modelo de producción orgánica y sistemas agroforestales asociados al cultivo del café. (Finca Agroecológica Mi Cafetal).

6:00 am Salida hacia Reserva Natural Cerro El Inglés, senderismo, avistamiento de aves.
Almuerzo tradicional campesino en la Reserva.
Regreso al casco urbano y culminación de la jornada.
